Joy of June is all about connection, community, and shared happiness. From cultural immersion and movement to beach games, music, and storytelling, every experience brings people together. Weekly celebrations build toward a vibrant Joy Music Festival, while hikes, mud baths, kayaking, and group adventures create moments of laughter, belonging, and pure joy.

Joy of June Program 2026:
  • Weekly opening “Joy Together” Circle - welcome reception and beach games to spark connection.
  • Community Market Tour: Discover Castries Market with local chefs, taste tropical fruits, and learn traditional food preparation.
  • Creole Cooking Workshop: Cook authentic Creole dishes together under the guidance of St. Lucian chefs.
  • Weekly Dance classes: covering various styles of dance – get together and move.
  • Dance Night: Immerse yourself in Saint Lucia’s musical soul — a night of rhythm, movement, and connection.
  • Buddy Workouts: Partner yoga, paired training, and team fitness challenges for all levels.
  • Balance & Mindfulness Workshops: Tai chi, mindful movement, and meditation circles designed to restore calm.
  • Beach Games Festival: Enjoy volleyball, pickleball, and team beach relays filled with laughter and friendly fun.

MAGDALENA MICHNO

Magdalena Michno was born in Poland and began her ballroom dancing journey in Wrocław. Between 1992 and 1999, she attained “Master Class” level in both Latin and Standard ballroom disciplines, mastering dances such as Samba, Cha-Cha-Cha, Rumba, Paso Doble, Jive, as well as English Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot, and Quickstep.

From 1999 to 2005, Magdalena served as Artistic Coordinator and Choreographer at Academia Club in Rzeszów, Poland, where she created and taught choreography for pageants, dance productions, and fashion shows.

She has since expanded her repertoire, achieving advanced-level proficiency across a wide range of dance styles, including Cuban Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, Merengue, and Semba.

Edwin Eugene has been sharing the art of Tai Chi at StolenTime Saint Lucia since 1995. Born and raised in Saint Lucia, he discovered Tai Chi through a deep appreciation for the discipline and has since dedicated decades to mastering its flow, balance, and underlying philosophy.

For over 30 years, Edwin’s sunrise and sunset sessions have guided guests from around the world to slow down, breathe deeply, and move with intention. Known for his patience, calm presence, and warm smile, he has become a much-loved and integral part of the StolenTime wellness experience.

Her approach combines mindful movement with modern wellness principles, helping guests relax, restore balance, and reconnect with themselves. Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, Karen creates inclusive and transformative experiences tailored to travellers seeking meaningful wellness retreats in the Caribbean.
