Summer Serve is a celebration of racket sports, featuring tennis and pickleball masterclasses, high-energy smash sessions, and the Rally Cup Tournament Series. With expert coaching, social events, recovery treatments, and programs for all ages, it’s the ultimate blend of sport, skill, and island fun.

Summer Serve Program 2026:
  • Tennis Masterclasses:
    Elevate your game with lessons and strategy sessions led tennis professionals. Perfect your backhand, refine your serve, and learn winning tactics to take your skills to the next level.
  • Pickleball Pro Clinics:
    Delve into the fast-growing world of pickleball with expert-led clinics for beginners and advanced players. Compete in friendly matches or take part in weekly ladder tournaments to climb the ranks.
  • Smash Sessions:
    Sharpen your reflexes and master precision shots with workshops. Participate in doubles tournaments to test your skills in a fun, high-energy setting.
  • The Rally Cup Tournament Series:
    Compete across all three sports in our Rally Cup; a multi-week competition with prizes for top players and teams. Spectators are welcome to cheer on participants and enjoy courtside entertainment.
  • Specials on therapeutic cares for athletes:
    Enhance your performance with customised treatments like reflexology and stretching classes. Learn recovery techniques to keep you in peak condition all season long.
  • Island Vibes Tennis / Pickleball Socials:
    Unwind after matches with lively themed evenings, featuring live music, Caribbean-inspired cocktails, and dining under the stars.

Lucy Kitcher

Lucy Kitcher is a passionate pickleball player from England who loves both the game and the vibrant community she encounters wherever she plays.

Since picking up a paddle in 2015, Lucy has earned over 100 medals in women’s and mixed events at prestigious tournaments, including the Nationals, the US Open, and Professional Pickleball Federation competitions, as well as numerous other national and international events.

In 2017, Lucy launched Lucy KItcher Pickleball , offering all-inclusive pickleball vacations. Since then, she has successfully hosted over 100 vacations across the USA and around the world. In addition, she has organized more than 50 pickleball tournaments.

A lifelong teacher, Lucy has coached everything from gymnastics and soccer to elementary school—and now brings that same passion and expertise to the pickleball court. She is a Level 2 Certified Instructor with the International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA) and is also a Certified Ratings Specialist.

Tomas Catar is a highly accomplished tennis coach with extensive experience training professional players, top juniors, and elite collegiate athletes across the country. With a proven track record of developing successful adult and junior tennis programs, he brings unmatched passion and expertise to every level of the game.

As a player, Tomas reached the pinnacle of junior tennis, earning the world No. 1 ranking on the ITF Junior Circuit and reaching the semifinals of the French Open. He also captured the prestigious European Junior Championship title. Transitioning to the professional circuit, he represented Slovakia in the Davis Cup World Group and competed in Grand Slam tournaments, achieving a career-high ATP ranking of 230. In 1999, he competed at the World Team Cup in Düsseldorf, representing Slovakia alongside Karol Kučera and Dominik Hrbatý.

Partnering with Hrbatý, he played doubles matches against powerhouse teams from France and the United States. Throughout his career, Tomas secured wins over notable players including Justin Gimelstob, Mark Philippoussis, Ivo Karlovic, and the Bryan brothers.

Tomas is the only coach in Alabama to hold the prestigious Master of Tennis – Performance Coaching certification from the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR), an honor that represents the highest level of coaching certification recognized by the International Tennis Federation. This Level 5 qualification meets the National Standards for Sports Coaches and is endorsed by the United States Olympic Committee.

He also serves as a National Coach Developer for both the Professional Tennis Registry and the Professional Pickleball Registry, where he plays a key role in mentoring and certifying the next generation of elite coaches.
