Saint Lucia is our home and we are proud of it. However, like many other countries, the island faces educational, social and environmental challenges. This is where the Cares foundation comes in. To improve the overall quality of life for many who are at a disadvantageous position of no cause of their own.
StolenTime Cares is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the education of the island’s children, improving facilities in our community and sustaining our unique environment.
Our charitable Foundation was incorporated in Saint Lucia in 2002, under the nomenclature “The Barnard Scholarship Fund”, after the Barnard family name (owners of BodyHoliday and StolenTime by Rendevous Resorts). The purpose of this fund was to raise funds to support less-privileged persons in attaining university-level education in Tourism management. The nomenclature has been revised to “The Cares Foundation”, and the fund now covers the gamut of charitable causes supported by the two resorts. Activities are undertaken by the respective resorts based on their immediate communities and specific interests
To be an organization that enhances lives through socially sustainable interventions, creating long-lasting benefits, and inspiring others to do the same.
