If climbing Gros Piton can seem a little daunting, then try this one for size. The start of this trail is located at about three- quarters of the height of Gros Piton and is located between the twin peaks. Since you are driven there, you can experience almost the same incredible views without the arduous climb. The walk is guided by knowledgeable friendly locals who will, along the way, teach you some history, culture and horticulture. After the walk, you get to see the Piton Mineral Falls, where the warm water cascades 30 feet into the pool below. A magical day is assured.
